15:00 -15:15 Comparing gradients and parcellations for functional connectivity prediction of behaviour

Dr. Ru(by) Kong

Dr Ru(by) Kong is a postdoctoral fellow in the Computational Brain Imaging Group (PI: Thomas Yeo) at National University of Singapore. Her research focuses on developing machine learning algorithms to study individual differences in brain organization from functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and exploring their relationship with human behaviors. She trained as an Engineer and completed her PhD at National University of Singapore (supervisor: Thomas Yeo). She previously worked on Media Access Control (MAC) protocol in wireless networks and developed base station softwares for smart house in the Intelligent to Wireless Networking and Cooperative Control (PI: Xinping Guan & Cailian Chen) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Saige Rutherford

Saige Rutherford is a PhD candidate in the Predictive Clinical Neuroscience lab at the Donders Institute, Radboud University, in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. She simultaneously works as a data scientist in the department of psychiatry at the University of Michigan. Saige's research interests include machine learning applications in psychiatry and improving scientific computational workflows and transparency. Outside of research you can find Saige on her road bike, hanging out in a hammock, on a yoga mat, or somewhere in the forest with her dog, Charlie-Mop.
